To transfer your Awards points to Velocity you need to follow these 3 steps:

You must be a current member of the Velocity Frequent Flyer Program (free when you join online).
You will need to provide your exact name and 10 digit Velocity membership number before you make a transfer.
When converting Awards points, members must convert in increments of 2 Awards points in order to convert to whole Velocity points.
